Custom Barn Designs
A barn is essentially a central shed bay, with supporting enclosed lean-tos. This means lots of flexibility in design! The central bay can have the width adjusted to suit what you need to store, and the height can be tailored also. In our barn range we offer gable tower section roof pitches of 10°, 15°, 20°, 25° and 30° and skillion slopes of 6° and 12°. With the lean-tos there is also design flexibility in width and roof pitches.
With multiple bays, you can then choose to add roller doors onto the front or rear, both ends and even along the length of the building. Personal doors can enhance foot traffic access also, and for those needing really easy access – door motors can be added. Mezzanine floors are frequently added to barns providing additional storage space. A mezzanine in the central bay really delivers maximum value and use from the tower.
Our steel barns, utilising our tough portal frame, offer the ability to extend one end to create even more covered space through a garaport extension. Alternatively, additional lean-tos can be added along either side.
